Forgot your parent PIN?

Orbit does not collect email addresses, so we cannot send a reset link. This page describes a last-resort recovery code built into the app. Anyone with this page and access to the device can use it—keep your device physically secure.

For parents only. Use when children are not watching. The app will look like the PIN was wrong until you finish both steps.

How to enter it

  1. Open the parent PIN screen in Orbit (same place you normally type your 4-digit PIN).
  2. Enter the first four digits: 8472
  3. The app will show an incorrect PIN message. That is expected.
  4. Enter the next four digits: 9163
  5. You should get access the same as if you had entered your parent PIN. Then open settings and set a new PIN.

This also works from the screen-time limit screen when a parent PIN is required for bonus time or “unlock for the day.”
